Excellent Endocrinologist Opportunity, Norwalk, Connecticut – One Hour from New York City
Norwalk Hospital, part of Nuvance Health, is seeking an Endocrinologist to join our collegial and growing employed clinical team of two Physicians and two Advanced Practice Providers. The practice is located in Norwalk, Connecticut, just one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. The ideal candidate will board certified/eligible in Endocrinology and also have interest and/or experience in obesity medicine with commitment to obtaining obesity medicine board certification. Our seven hospital system and medical practice offers the full range of Endocrinology care including Transgender Medicine and Thyroid Cancer Diagnosis and Treatment. We have in-office ultrasound for thyroid biopsies, staff trained in Insulin pumps and Continuous Glucose Monitoring Devices, and in-system access to our Certified Diabetes and Nutrition Center, Thyroid–Parathyroid Center, and Metabolic–Weight Loss Center and an Inpatient Diabetes Management Quality Improvement Team. Our system has dedicated Endocrinology surgery and radiology services including Radioactive iodine therapy.
The position is mainly outpatient based with some inpatient consults at Norwalk Hospital. We are offering flexible schedules, with 3-5 working days per week. There is admin time built into the schedule and proportional to hours worked.
Our hospital is staffed by a superb group of hospitalist physicians and medical trainees. There is optional involvement with our medical teaching program including the opportunity for appointment to the clinical faculty of the University of Vermont College of Medicine and/or Yale School of Medicine.

Salary Range:
$270,000 - $325,000 annually, commensurate or relative to experience.
