Nuvance Health Medical Group is seeking an experienced full-time Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for in-box management and acute visit scheduling in Primary Care. The position will be primarily remote and telehealth after an initial 90-day in person successful onboarding based in one of our Primary Care practices in the Kingston, NY area. This is an exciting new position that will allow you to use your office-based Primary Care skills for in-box management, prescription refills, patient correspondence, patient labs, imaging and portal management and see a maximum of 8 patients per day virtually. The successful candidate may need to be onsite in one of our Primary Care practices on a rare occasion pending clinical need to see patients or attend meetings and support quality initiates across Nuvance Health Medical Practice.
Job Responsibilities:
The NP or PA provides medical care for patients in collaboration with a physician. The role requires care of acute and chronic health conditions in conjunction with providing inbox management for clinicians who may be out of office or require additional support.
Job Requirements:
·This position requires a minimum formal education and graduate of an approved PA Program or master’s degree, FNP.
·State of NY RN and NP license and be board-Certified as a Nurse Practitioner or current certification by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)
·Federal DEA Registration
·Willingness to work regular full-time 8 hour shifts Monday through Friday 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
·5+ years of office-based Primary Care experience as a FNP or PA required.
