Nuvance Health has a network of convenient hospital and outpatient locations — Danbury Hospital, New Milford Hospital, Norwalk Hospital and Sharon Hospital in Connecticut, and Northern Dutchess Hospital, Putnam Hospital Center and Vassar Brothers Medical Center in New York — plus multiple primary and specialty care physician practices locations, including The Heart Center, a leading provider of cardiology care. Non-acute care is offered through various affiliates
Hours : 36 hours
Work Shift: 6:45pm - 7:15am, every other weekend, on call rotation
Job Summary: 
Provides direct patient care in the Labor and Delivery setting. Provides assessment and planning for individualized patient care. Communicates with physicians about changes in patient’s clinical condition including: fetal monitoring and results of diagnostic studies. Responds quickly and accurately to changes in condition or response to treatment. Performs general nursing duties in all Maternal Child Health departments with adequate supervision. Participates in performance improvement activities.

Requirements:
· CT Registered Nurse Licensure.
· One year of recent Labor and Delivery/Newborn Nursery or equivalent experience required.
· Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification, Neonatal Resuscitation certification (NRP)
· Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification required within six months of hire
· Successful completion of STABLE Neonatal Program within six months of hire
· Fetal Monitoring Certification (C-EFM) preferred
