Description

JOB SUMMARY:
This position is accountable to perform patient-related clerical, maintenance, and direct care activities including assisting, transporting, preparing, and observing patients, to facilitate safe, effective, and confidential patient care. The PCT also provides environmental and technical support including room and equipment preparation/set-up for procedures, clean up of room/equipment after a procedure is completed. Also processing and preparing diagnostic studies for interpretation by the Radiologists. Additionally, the PCT supports the mission, vision, values, and strategic initiatives of PHC and demonstrates a commitment of quality service to our patients and their families, the community, the physicians, and our associates.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Education: High School graduate or equivalent
  • Licensure/Registration/Certification: PCT (CNA) certification preferred. BLS certified.
  • Work Experience: Recent experience as a PCT, phlebotomist, or EKG technician preferred. Complete probationary period with satisfactory evaluation.
