Description

Summary:

 

Responsible for designing and managing a data infrastructure that ensures compliance with data-related grant requirements. Supports data collection, tracking, analysis and reporting for the implementation and evaluation of Housing First across Nuvance Health and community project sites. Works closely with the Project Director and Project Evaluator to meet grant obligations and support submission of required progress reports. 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify relevant data required for Housing First implementation at Nuvance Health.
  • Oversee the design for collection of required data fields and information. 
  • Automate retrieval of needed data from EMRs and other ambulatory care service sites.
  • Maintain system-wide data for use in the development of quality measures and decision support.
  • Generate reports using relevant database and analytic software such as MS Excel, MS Access, or other database and reporting/analysis tools such as SAS and/or SPSS.
  • Ensure the validity of all data used in program evaluation efforts.
  • Participate in the writing and submission of progress reports to funding agencies. 
  • Generate and disseminate confidential data as needed in accordance with confidentiality policies.
  • Fulfill all compliance responsibilities related to the position.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of one year job-related experience required. 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, database management, data collection platforms, and health information technology.
  • Strong skills in program evaluation and data analysis. Experience with MS Excel or SAS and/or SPSS.

Other Information:

 

  • Experience working in Cerner (the current Electronic Health Record) preferred but not required.
