Summary:
The purpose of this position is to support the Workforce Development team in fulfilling contractually obligated workforce and career readiness programs. This role will assist with program planning, execution and reporting and help raise the level of capacity and communication of the Workforce Team to its various internal and external stakeholders. This role will serve as a key point of contact and coordinator for specific external workforce initiatives in CT and New York and help drive organizational and HR goals for Nuvance Health employees.
Responsibilities:
1. Helps plan and coordinate workforce development programs for Nuvance Health. Works with Director and Career Navigators to support program activities coordination, timelines and scopes of work.
2. Serves as a key point of contact between the Workforce Development Team and external partners, including nonprofits/service providers, academic affiliates, and other support, workforce and career development organizations.
3. Acts as a Liaison with Career Navigators and internal hospital clients to help define and execute onsite programs and logistics. Ensures that service providers are adhering to line requirements and MOU's.
4. Coordinates experiential learning opportunities within the Nuvance Health system, ensuring that all program participants have a positive experience.
5. Analyzes program progress and when necessary adapt scope or timeline to achieve optimal results. Compiles outcomes of initiatives and provide best practices.
6. Compiles and regularly update Workforce Team and internal stakeholders on assigned program metrics, outcomes and workforce participant conversion rates.
7. Helps advocate for workforce development program participants and drive community hires from the assigned programs.
8. Coordinates and supports private and public funded workforce and career development programs in collaboration with Workforce Development, Talent Strategy, HR, Operations, and Nuvance Foundation, and other departments as needed.
9. Regularly presents workforce programs and outcomes both internally and externally.
10. Continuously finds ways to improve programs and its outcomes through consistent evaluation and measuring tactics.
11. Reports on project risks and outcomes to appropriate management and escalate issues according to project work plans.
12. Maintains and Models Nuvance Health values.
13. Demonstrates regular, reliable and predictable attendance.
14. Performs other duties as required.
