Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a part-time, experienced Clinical Care Coordinator Behavioral Health LIP working in an inpatient setting Danbury, Connecticut. The LMSW will provide support to the Behavioral and Mental Healthcare department following a variable days/evenings/weekends for 8 hour shifts either 7am-3:30pm, or 2:30pm-11:00pm schedule. Danbury is located one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County. We offer a highly competitive compensation package including base salary.
The ideal candidate will be a seasoned master social worker versed in the areas of crisis intervention, as well as hold an active licensure as a Clinical Social Worker. The position provides Crisis Intervention Services in the hospital and in the community. Provides Care Coordination services on the inpatient psychiatric unit as needed. Stabilizes patients for continued treatment and arranges for treatment as indicated. 
Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. As a teaching hospital, we are affiliated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine. Our Medical Group includes 900+ physician and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide variety of outdoor activities, including hiking, biking, fishing and boating in state and regional parks and preserves. Surrounded by a number of quaint towns with scenic New England landscapes, the area offers a variety of excellent housing and school options. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train and car.
