Anesthesiology Opportunities (Call and Non-Call) at Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals in Fairfield County, Connecticut (60 miles from NYC)
Danbury and Norwalk Hospitals are seeking a full-time Anesthesiologist to join our growing employed group based in suburban Fairfield County in Connecticut, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and next to Westchester County in New York. Both day/non-call and call positions are available. Nocturnist schedule also available. There is also opportunity for those with Cardiac Anesthesia fellowship training at Danbury. Part-time and per diem scheduling options will be considered. With approximately 40 physicians and 40 CRNAs, our group covers a variety of cases including spine, orthopedics, cardiac, and obstetrics. This is an excellent opportunity to join a large, established and growing program that includes teaching to residents, medical students and CRNA students. Generous sign on bonus and relocation allowance are provided.
The ideal candidate will be board certified/eligible in Anesthesia. New and recent graduates welcome to apply, including 2025 graduates and cardiac anesthesia fellows. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including base salary plus incentives and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses, and malpractice coverage.
Our highly experienced team provides 24/7 coverage at Danbury, Norwalk, New Milford and Sharon Hospitals. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year. Norwalk Hospital has 366 beds and is also a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 50,000 ED visits per year. New Milford Hospital is an 85-bed community hospital and Sharon Hospital is a 78-bed community hospital.

Our employed Medical Group includes 1000+ physicians and advanced practice providers, serving a geographically broad region throughout Western Connecticut and eastern New York.
Danbury, Connecticut, in Fairfield County, is located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys proximity to New York City culture and offers many venues for 4 season outdoor and indoor recreational activities. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.
Norwalk Hospital is ideally situated in Fairfield County, Connecticut, along the Long Island Sound. The city of Norwalk is rich in cultural diversity and offers many venues for four season outdoor and indoor recreational activities. There are excellent public and private schools and universities in our area. New York City is easily accessible by car or train.

Salary Range: $350,000-$550,000 annually depending on the schedule and subspecialty.
