Full-Time Cardiac Specialist (Nurse Practitioner) Opening in Danbury, Connecticut (60 miles from New York City) 
Nuvance Health is seeking a full-time Cardiac Specialist (Nurse Practitioner) to join our employed Danbury Cardiology Practice based in Danbury, Connecticut, (Fairfield County) located about 60 miles northeast of New York City and near the border of Westchester and Putnam Counties in New York. The practice includes thirteen physicians, four full-time APRNs, and excellent support staff. This is a Monday through Friday schedule.
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner looking to join a dedicated and collegial team. Previous experience as an APRN in Cardiology and/or Medicine preferred. Position includes both inpatient and outpatient work at the Danbury Hospital campus and outpatient office. We offer a comprehensive compensation package, including competitive salary, generous benefits, and allowances for CMEs and Dues.
Established in 1885, Danbury Hospital is a not-for-profit community hospital providing Greater Danbury area residents convenient access to exceptional care. Danbury Hospital has 371 beds and is a Level II Trauma Center with approximately 70,000 ED visits per year, as well as a Stroke Center and a Chest Pain Center, offering 24-hour interventional cardiology. As a teaching hospital, we are associated with the University of Vermont College of Medicine, Ross University, American University of the Caribbean, and Yale School of Medicine.
Danbury, Connecticut, located in the foothills of the Berkshire Mountains and on the border of New York State, is about 60 miles northeast of New York City and 60 miles west of Hartford, CT. As part of the greater NY metropolitan area, the city of Danbury enjoys both proximity to New York City culture and access to a wide array of four season recreational activities. The area has highly rated public and private school options and nearby universities. Boston, New York City, New Haven and Hartford are easily accessible via train or car.
