CT Scan Tech - FT - New Milford Hospital!

This is a RARE opportunity for a CT Scan Tech or a Rad Tech with an interest in being trained as a CT Scan Tech to join our dynamic and growing community New Milford Hospital.  ARRT certification required. This is Evening/Nights.  We offer competitive pay, perks and benefits!  Pay based on full years of experience and range from $42 - 52.51+shift differentials.

 

 

 

Summary:

Provides patient services using CT Scanner. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the CT Scanner.

Responsibilities:

1. 50% - Performs CT exam. Selects appropriate protocol for patient.
2. 5% - Screens patient.
3. 5% - Explains contrast consent.
4. 2% - Starts IV.
5. 5% - Quality Assurance.
6. 2% - Medication reconciliation - screens for allergies.
7. 2% - Changes exam.
8. 10% - Monitors patient.
9. 10% - Evaluates image for further assessment.
10. 2% - Expedites stroke protocol patients.
11. 2% - Ensures physicians receive report.
12. 5% - Send exam to IOC. Ensures it is read on a timely basis.
13. Fulfills all compliance responsibilities related to the position.
14. Performs other duties as assigned.

Education: ASSOCIATE'S LVL DGRE

Other Information:

Required: Start IV's, communication skills, X-Ray license.
Minimum Experience: one year
