Rheumatology Advanced Practitioner (NP/PA) Opening in Danbury, CT (One hour from NYC)
Nuvance Health, formerly known as Western Connecticut Health, is seeking a part-time or full time Advanced Practitioner (Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant) to join our long established and busy employed Rheumatology practice in Danbury, Connecticut.  The practice includes three Rheumatologists, one Physician Assistant, and excellent support staff. The position is based in our outpatient office and follows a Monday-Friday office schedule. No evenings, weekends, or call.  Danbury Hospital is located about one hour outside of New York City in suburban Fairfield County, Connecticut, nearby to Westchester County. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, including allowances for CME/Dues and CME time. 
 
The ideal candidate will be a board certified Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant with previous experience in Rheumatology, Internal Medicine, Primary Care, Orthopedics, Hospitalist Medicine and/or Pain Management. The practice only treats adult patients. The candidate should be looking to join a dedicated and collegial team working to meet the needs of our large primary care referral base. We offer a highly competitive compensation package, comprehensive benefits package, and allowances for CMEs and Dues expenses. Connecticut state Advanced Practitioner licensure, Controlled Substance Registration, and Federal DEA are required.
