$500 Sign On Bonus (External Hires only)
Title: Medical Practice Patient Representative(Clerical Assistant)- HQMP Medical Oncology - 40 hours per week, Monday - Friday, 8 hour shifts between 8:00am - 5:00pm. 
 
Summary: 
Performs tasks and responsibilities within the Infusion Center. Offers support to patients, as well clinical and front office staff.
 
Responsibilities:
1. Patient Care; escorting patients to Infusion treatment area
2. Perform routine testing within the scope of Certified Medical Assistant such as height, weight, vitals
3. Clean exam rooms, ensures proper supplies are available, and demonstrates safe use of equipment related to patient care.
4. Maintain infection control measures with all patient contact. Comply with standards of Infection Control and Quality Improvement Policies and Procedures at all times.
5. Promotes a safe and efficient working environment by adhering to safe equipment and supply handling Policies and Procedures at all times.
6. Immediately reports all incidents, irregularities, unsafe conditions, equipment and/or unusual occurrences to Management.
7. Review patient schedule with health care team and plan for clinical day.
8. Demonstrates knowledge of age appropriate care. 
9. Consistently responds to patient and family members concerns in a prompt, courteous and professional manner. Directs inquires, complaints or problems to appropriate resource. 
10. Ordering Pantry supplies; patient lunches as needed.
11. Assure patients have safe discharge from Infusion area.
12. Maintain and Model Nuvance Health Foundational Values (Personal, Imaginative, Agile, Connected).
13. Performs other duties as required.

* Some manual skills / motor coord & finger dexterity
* Some occupational risk
