Strengthening our workforce
At Nuvance Health, we recognize that our workforce is our greatest asset. Our Workforce Development initiatives are helping to ensure that we continue to build a talented, diverse and inclusive team. As part of this effort, our Regional Career Navigators partner with community organizations and education providers to develop, retain and advance our diverse talent.
Community partnerships
We partner with community centers, chambers of commerce and other nonprofit organizations throughout Connecticut and New York.
Residency programs
We offer excellent residency programs for nurses, physicians, advanced practitioners, social workers, pharmacists and more.
Professional fellowships
Our professional fellowships include programs for nurses, physicians, advanced practitioners, administrative professionals and more.
Medical education
Nuvance Health provides Undergraduate Medical Education (UME), with 3rd and 4th year rotations at our hospitals throughout the system.
Internships
We offer internships for graduates and undergraduates, as well as high school internships and immersion programs.
Community sponsorships
Our hospitals offer community outreach programs and sponsorships to promote wellness and health education. Nonprofit organizations can apply here.
EMS training
Our training programs include first aid, CPR, EMT and other customized courses to obtain basic through advanced EMS qualifications.
Community education
At Nuvance Health, we help train community members in lifesaving techniques, disaster preparedness and safety education.
